We’ve all grown up with our favourite chocolate bars, containing sweet and indulgent fillings that bring us back to the simpler times of our childhood. But with traditional chocolate bars containing around 26g of sugar per bar, these treats aren’t exactly kind to our health. In October’s box however, you’ll find a brand new product from RHYTHM108 that will replace your favourite childhood indulgence but without the guilt, in the form of their new Hazelnut Praline Deeelicious Chocolate Bar.

Usually the first flavour in the chocolate box to disappear, RHYTHM108 have reinvented the Hazelnut Praline into a healthier and more indulgent treat using organic and natural ingredients.

RHYTHM108’s Hazelnut Praline bar has a creamy, nutty filling made with pure hazelnuts, wholesome oats, cacao butter and puffed quinoa, enrobed in a rich Swiss Dark Chocolate. A smooth praline filling, with the crunch and texture from the nuts and quinoa, is enough to brighten even the dullest of days and bring you back to a time of nostalgic indulgence. RHYTHM108 don’t use any artificial preservatives or additives, simply wholesome and nutritious ingredients. The bar is capped at 8g of sugar, which is around 45% less than traditional, comparable products and so a definite winner! The bar is additionally gluten-free and vegan, but we promise you’d never know! No one should miss out on delicious sweet treats, and so the Hazelnut Praline ensures that everyone can enjoy a little afternoon pick-me-up, without compromising on taste. Created by a team of professional in-house chocolatiers, it took many attempts to come up with the perfect combination of ingredients. But they’ve done it, and they’ve done it well!

Enjoy with your mid-morning coffee, or as an afternoon treat, or even mix it up and try the below recipe and include the bar as part of a decadent weeknight dessert when you just need some time to relax and unwind.

Chocolate Nice Cream with Hazelnut Praline Crunch

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas

  • 1 tbsp cacao powder

  • Splash of almond milk

  • 1 RHYTHM108 Hazelnut Praline Chocolate Bar

  • Strawberries to top

Method

  1. Peel and cut the bananas and place into a freezer bag. Leave in the freezer, ideally overnight, until frozen.

  2. Place the frozen banana, cacao powder and almond milk in a blender and pulse to combine everything together until smooth and creamy. You may need to add a little more almond milk to help the blending process, but it should resemble a soft-serve ice cream.

  3. Cut up the RHYTHM108 Hazelnut Praline bar into pieces, as big or as small as you like. Place the nice cream into a bowl and top with strawberries and the Chocolate Bar pieces.

  4. Sit back and enjoy each and every mouthful!
