March's SourcedBoxer of the month is Natalie, a Student Support Tutor and health and fitness enthusiast from Manchester. Natalie is always on the hunt for delicious, healthy snacks to fuel her busy life. 

Why did you sign up to SourcedBox?

I am the queen of snacking! So I was constantly on the hunt for healthy, delicious snacks that contained simple ingredients. SourcedBox was the perfect fit for me; it provided me with healthy nutritious snacks, which stopped me grabbing something unhealthy on the go. I also love receiving my box in the mail and the excitement of opening it up to see what is inside!

What's your snacking style? Are you an 11am pre-luncher or a 4pm slump-banisher?

I’ll be honest, I am both. Which is why it is important for me to eat healthy snacks. My 11am pre-lunch snack is usually fruit based such as the Press ‘Mighty Mango Slices’ featured in March’s SourcedBox. 

My 4pm slump-banisher is usually nuts and seeds; healthy fats to keep me full until dinner. I really enjoyed the Dhikari ‘Modern Bombay Mix’ in February’s Sourced Box. 

How does SourcedBox help you to lead a happy and healthy life?

SourcedBox allows me to feed my snacking addiction in a healthy way. Some days I am chained to my desk so I am constantly thinking about my next meal. SourcedBox has allowed me to snack without guilt and satisfy my teeth tooth!  I am also training for a 10K so nutrition is a big part of my training in order to get faster and stronger. SourcedBox offers fantastic protein filled snacks such as Pulsin protein powder and Trek protein energy chunks to aid recovery.

What has been your favourite snack so far?

Usually anything chocolate! My favourite snack so far (if I have to pick one) is the Nouri chocolate and hazelnut truffles, they were delicious!  

What were your top 3 picks from March's box and why?

 - Big Boss Palm Toasted Coconut Soda – It tasted like a Piña colada without the calories. My favourite Sourcedbox drink so far.

 - Sourcedbox Bites – Chocolate orange is always my go to. Anything chocolate orange will please me. Using chickpeas in a sweet treat was also something I had never seen before!

QNOLA Breakfast Goods – I always saw quinoa as a savoury ingredient so it was great to have it for breakfast! The almond and vanilla flavour was tasty and it has inspired me to try quinoa porridge for breakfast.
